Unit 1 One Variable Statistics

In this unit, we'll concentrate on measures of center such as mean and median, as well as measures of spread such as standard deviation, mean absolute value, and interquartile range. Afterwards we'll look at the different shapes of distribution such as bell-shaped, bimodal, skewed, and uniform. Finally we'll look at outliers, how to calculate them, and when to keep or remove them.
