Resources for Multi-Language Learners

My hope is that students and parents will find the additional resources on this page helpful for multi-language learners as they grow their mathematical content knowledge base.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy has videos, articles, and practice problems for almost any subject you can think of, including every level of math through high school. In your account settings, you can change your home language and have the modules presented in that language.

Kendall Hunt - Illustrative Math

Illustrative Math is a popular curriculum used across the nation in schools. The website offers all the student and family materials for free. You can find videos, explanations, and practice problems. All materials from kindergarten through algebra 1 are available in Spanish as well.

Daniel Carreón

Daniel Carreón is from Mexico and runs a YouTube channel where he teaches math using animation and cartoons to get students engaged in learning. These videos are primarily in Spanish and can be extremely helpful as a supplemental tool for what native Spanish speakers are learning in an English led math classroom.
